Disco returns to The Stables Matakana on Saturday, 5th September. One night of 1970s glamour, live DJs and dancefloor decadence, inspired by the legend of New York’s Studio 54. 7pm till 1am. Dress up and join the party in Matakana.

Studio 54 returns to The Stables Matakana – a full night of 1970s glamour built on the style, excess and energy of New York’s most legendary nightclub. Four years after the original sold-out edition, the venue transforms into a late-night disco floor for one night only.

Expect gold light, mirrored walls and a soundtrack running deep through disco, funk and soul. Three DJs take the room for six hours straight: The Mayor of Yesteryear, Nigel Love and Paul Flynn aka Flynny, spinning from 7pm until 1am.

The Stables Matakana sits 50 minutes north of Auckland in the heart of Matakana Country Park, making it a natural destination night out for the wider Rodney and Matakana Coast region – worth the drive for visitors wanting a genuine dress-up night rather than a themed costume party.
