One of the most exciting young live acts in Aotearoa is back at The Stables Matakana!

Rumpus Machine are a four-piece sibling band: Daniel Hyde on lead vocals and guitar, Matthew on guitar, and Hannah and Ashley Hyde on bass and drums. They formed in 2020 and have spent the years since quietly becoming one of the hardest-working, compelling live acts on the NZ circuit.

In January 2025 they opened for Cold Chisel, Icehouse, Everclear, and Bic Runga to a crowd of 18,000 in Taupo. They’ve played Beach Hop, Soundsplash, NZ Music Month, and have already been locked in for Meatstock 2026. They’ve also shared stages with Skindred, and Tadpoole, and played Legacy Fest right here at The Stables Matakana alongside Jordan Luck Band and Hello Sailor.

Now they’re back for a headline show.
