Melbourne Cup: A Day at the Country Park

Melbourne Cup lands at the Country Park this year. Smiths Matakana is throwing a free afternoon party on Tuesday 3 November, and there’s no better spot to watch the race than an equestrian park.

Doors open at 2pm with $10 cocktails and bubbles specials, plus Phil Stoodley playing live through the afternoon. There’s a horse show in the arena, horse and carriage rides around the park, and canapés on us from 4pm.

The Melbourne Cup runs at 5pm on the big screens, followed by Flynny’s Melbourne Cup quiz at 6.30pm and DJ Flynny from 8.30pm.

Dress up for your chance at best dressed prizes for best woman, best man and best duo. There’s also a photo area to make the most of the outfit.
