Matakana Comedy Club At The Stables Matakana

Friday 11th September, for one night only join us at The Stables Matakana for dinner and a show featuring four of New Zealand’s best stand ups, including 2025 Fred Award winner Angella Dravid.

Matakana Comedy Club brings four of New Zealand’s sharpest stand-up comedians to The Stables Matakana for one night only: a proper dinner and a show, set inside the region’s boutique live entertainment venue. Presented with Laugh Club NZ, this is a night built for people who want more than a show, they want an evening out.

The lineup is stacked. Angella Dravid is the reigning 2025 Fred Award winner for Best NZ Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, and only the third woman in the award’s history to take it out. She’s joined by Pax Assadi, writer and star of the award-winning series Raised by Refugees, Nick Rado, a six-time Best Comedy MC winner at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards, and Tarun Mohanbhai, a familiar face from Shortland Street and a fixture of the Auckland comedy circuit for over two decades.
