The ever-popular Italian Film Festival returns to Matakana this September allowing enthusiasts to enjoy a tour of Italy without leaving town!

In its 11th year, and owned and organised by Italian-kiwi Paolo Rotondo who was born in Naples, the festival is as authentic as it is entertaining. Showcasing the richness, diversity, and creative vitality of Italy’s film industry to New Zealand audiences, the year-long festival returns to Matakana Cinema in September with an amazing lineup of 27 hand-picked films from comedy to drama, westerns to documentaries, restored classics to romances, and everything in between.
