BLACKSTRATBLUES & TOMATILLOS at Leigh Sawmill

HOLY HECKA we’re in for a goodie on the 8th of August with a night full of blues and rock n roll tunes; with a splash of country funk from TOMATILLOS. And some outstanding rock and blues with BLACKSTRATBLUES led by outstanding guitarist Warren Mendonsa.

TOMATILLOS (Tom-ah-tee-ohs) are the new outfit formed by guitarist/singer Tom Irvine – joined by Nick Eagles on Bass guitar and Neill McCulloch on drums.

Tomatillos play a fresh set of traditional blues and rock n roll tunes; with a splash of country funk.

You’ll hear songs from Elvis and Cream, BB King and Little Feat, alongside original tunes from their back catalogue.
They were fantastic when they played at the Mill in May!

Blackstratblues is a solo project from guitarist/producer Warren Mendonsa, originally from Mumbai.

He will be bringing his 3-piece band (Jared Kahi on bass and Logan Compain on drums) and joined by special guests for this Sawmill show.
